According to a report from Eurosport, West Ham are now willing to meet Stade Reims’ £15 million asking price for Boulaye Dia.
Hammers boss David Moyes quite simply must bring a new striker to the London Stadium this month. Sebastien Haller left to join Ajax last week. And now we are incredibly light in the centre-forward department.
West Ham have already been linked with a whole host of names.
David Sullivan’s scattergun is firing away as the east London outfit seem to have cast their net far and wide.
One exciting name to have been linked with a move to the London Stadium is Stade Reims ace Boulaye Dia (Evening Standard).
West Ham ready to meet Boulaye Dia asking price
And now Eurosport are claiming that West Ham are prepared top pay as much as £15 million for the red-hot 24-year-old hitman.
The Senegalese ace is out of contract in the summer of 2022. £15 million for his services would represent excellent value for the Hammers, however.
Dia would be an absolutely superb signing for West Ham. He has been in red-hot form this season.
The Senegal international has scored 12 goals in 17 Ligue 1 games for Stade Reims this season and is currently tied at the top of the goalscoring charts with PSG star Kylian Mbappe.
We quite simply have to get this one done. There won’t be many better value for money deals out there for West Ham this month.
Boulaye Dia could be a real hit in the Premier League. And for £15m, signing him really is a no-brainer for the Hammers.
