Victor Camarasa is unsure what his future holds ahead of next season, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The on-loan Cardiff City midfielder has been linked with West Ham. But he does not know where he will be playing next season during an interview with Radio Marca (via El Desmarque).

Camarasa currently plays for Real Betis but he could be set for a permanent summer move. Cardiff want to keep him but might struggle if they are relegated.

Victor Camarasa on his future

Camarasa will return to Real Betis when his loan spell at Cardiff expires. But whether Betis will keep him, loan him out again or sell him remains to be seen.

As translated by Sport Witness, Camarasa told Radio Marca: “I have a contract with Betis and I’ve been very happy there, I’ve felt very comfortable.

“We’ll see about my future, it’s up to both parties, I still can’t say anything because I don’t know what Betis wants. I’ll do the preseason and you’ll see.”

West Ham linked with Victor Camarasa

West Ham have recently been named among the clubs interested in the 24-year-old. According to Marca, the Hammers will be vying with Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Leicester City for Camarasa.

Cardiff’s hopes of signing the Spaniard are slim given their precarious situation. Camarasa’s tally of fives goals and four assists is impressive despite Cardiff’s relegation woes.

And with his Real Betis future in the balance, West Ham could press ahead with this signing in the summer.
