According to a report from the Guardian, West Ham United have had a loan with an option to buy bid for Gaetan Laborde rejected by Montpellier.

The Hammers will allegedly have to stump up £16 million if they want to sign the 26-year-old striker (The Guardian).
David Moyes absolutely must bring an established centre-forward to the London Stadium before the end of the month if we are to have any chance whatsoever of finishing inside the top six or seven this season.
With Sebastien Haller having been sold to Ajax, Michail Antonio is now West Ham’s only recognised senior striker.
And that quite clearly isn’t good enough for a club with the Hammers’ stature and standing in the game.

West Ham have already been linked with a plethora of names.
One of those names is Gaetan Laborde with The Telegraph recently claiming that Moyes wants to bring the Frenchman to East London.
And The Guardian are now suggesting that the Hammers have had a loan with an option to buy bid rejected for Laborde.
West Ham Gaetan Laborde bid rejected
So it seems as though David Sullivan is up to his old tricks yet again.

If the Hammers co-owner really wanted him surely he would just pay Montpellier what they want.
Whatever happens this month, signing a new striker is an absolute must.
Sullivan’s scattergun is firing away like a gooden. If we do end up with a new striker before the transfer window slams shut it will be more through luck than judgement.
Let’s just hope that Moyes is given the backing he needs. We have a really good chance of finishing inside the top seven this season. Now’s the time to kick on
Rejected loan to buy bids for the likes of Gaetan Laborde do not bode well, however…
