West Ham United allegedly could make a move to sign Rennes forward Gaetan Laborde late on in the transfer window.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb who claim that the 28-year-old forward is wanted by both the Hammers and Newcastle United this summer.

West Ham allegedly tried to sign Laborde from Montpellier last summer.
However, he ended up joining Rennes in the end for around €18 million (£15 million) according to TMW.
Homme Du Match claimed back in January that the Ligue 1 club are prepared to sell Laborde but only for around £30 million.
And it seems as though David Moyes is very keen on the Frenchman…

TuttoMercatoWeb claim that the Hammers could make a move to sign the Rennes hitman late on in the transfer window.
The problem for us is that Newcastle are allegedly keen as well. So Moyes’s task of signing him will obviously be a hard one.
He would actually be a great signing for us but perhaps £30 million is too steep. Something like £20 million would represent good value for the Hammers.
The French ace has been described as a ‘breathtaking’ striker by Homme Du Match.
Laborde scored 20 goals and eight assists in 47 games last season (Transfermarkt).
He possesses very similar attributes to Michail Antonio.
Laborde is a hard-working striker and has plenty of pace and power. The experienced forward can play anywhere along the front-line and possesses very good movement.
Moyes has already brought Gianluca Scamacca to the London Stadium.
And West Ham signing Gaetan Laborde in addition to the Italian would be a really good move in my book. Whether we are able to beat Newcastle to his services remains to be seen though.
