According to a report from Forza Italian Football, West Ham could go back in for Torino hitman Andrea Belotti in January.
The Hammers were linked with a move for the 26-year-old Italian in the summer (Sky Sports). But a move to east London failed to materialise for the striker.
Belotti has been in prolific form over the past few seasons for Torino. He has scored 83 goals since the start of the 2015/16 season.
And he would be a truly sensational addition for West Ham.
Forza Italian Football claims that Torino wanted upwards of £60 million for the Italy international in the summer. The Serie A outfit are now allegedly demanding around £30 million less for his signature, however.
That means Belotti could be picked up for just over £30 million. And in today’s day and age, that would represent excellent value for money for the Hammers.
The Torino hitman is an excellent finisher, is comfortable when playing with his back to goal, and always puts in a shift.
He would be the ideal strike partner for Sebastien Haller. And if West Ham do manage to bring him to the London Stadium, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for them.
