West Ham United are ready to start the process of attempting to bring Juventus ace Aaron Ramsey back to the Premier League according to a report from Calcio Mercato.

Football journalist Nicolo Schira claimed earlier the month that Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the 30-year-old Welshman to the London Stadium his summer.
Calcio Mercato then backed up those claims.
West Ham are now ready to push on with their interest in Ramsey according to Calcio Mercato.
The 61-capped Wales international joined the Old Lady from Arsenal in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer.
He earns around €7 million per year net at Juventus according to Calcio Mercato. That works out to a whopping £115k-a-week after tax!
Anyone who earns over €75,000 per year in Italy is taxed at around 43%. So he will be on around £200k-a-week gross.
That’s a serious amount of money, and West Ham clearly won’t be able to pay him anywhere near that.
West Ham signing Aaron Ramsey is possible but should David Moyes avoid the Juventus midfielder?
If David Moyes moves on big earners like Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson this summer, the Hammers should be in a position to offer Ramsey a healthy salary.
It could be argued that signing Ramsey this summer is the wrong route for Moyes to take, however.
The 30-year-old’s injury problems over the past five years are a huge red flag.
He will be 31 at the end of this year as well. Signing him would hardly fit in with Moyes’s ‘Red Bull model’ vision would it?
Ramsey was a great player in his day. Those days are long gone, however. We suggest that David Moyes avoids bringing the Wales international to West Ham this summer.
