West Ham are one of the clubs interested in Blackburn Rovers star Bradley Dack. According to The Daily Mail, West Ham and Crystal Palace are both monitoring Dack.
Blackburn have received a number of enquiries about their goalscoring midfielder. But their £18m valuation is currently putting West Ham and Crystal Palace off.
Rovers seem willing to sell if someone matches this price. They have been scouring the market for replacements. But £18m is a sizeable outlay for a player with no Premier League experience.
Who is Bradley Dack?
Greenwich-born midfielder Dack came through the ranks at Gillingham and played nearly 200 times for the Kent-based team.
After scoring 38 goals in 185 games for the Gills, Dack left Priestfield. Blackburn snapped him up, even though they were in the same division at the time.
In his first season at Ewood Park, Dack netted 18 times in 45 games. This tally helped Blackburn secure an instant promotion back to the Championship.
And he adjusted to life in the second tier with aplomb. The 25-year-old has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season, including 15 goals in 42 league games.
Operating predominantly as a central attacking midfielder, Dack can also play deeper, on the wing or as a centre-forward.
Dack will have Premier League sides knocking. But at £18m, West Ham should avoid this. Attacking midfield is not a priority and Dack is not proven in the top-flight.
