According to a report from talkSPORT, Bournemouth ace Josh King is desperate to join West Ham United in January and the Hammers are working on a deal to sign the striker.
The 28-year-old Cherries forward has been on West Ham’s radar since the summer.
Claret and Hugh recently claimed that the Hammers are eyeing a bargain £10 million deal for the 28-year-old.
West Ham boss David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium in January.
The Scot is clearly not a big fan of Sebastien Haller and Michail Antonio continues to experience problems with his hamstrings.
Josh King West Ham bound?
The Hammers have received a big boost in their pursuit of Josh King with talkSPORT claiming that the 51-capped Norway international is desperate to move to the London Stadium next month.
The 28-year-old is an incredibly hard-working forward. He is more in the mould of Antonio than he is Haller and he would provide excellent competition for West Ham’s current attackers.
The Norwegian can play through the middle or out wide left or right.
This really would be a great one to get over the line. If West Ham can pick Josh King up for a reasonable fee, it will be a no-brainer for David Moyes in January.
At the same time, however, King is out of contract in the summer. So it would be no surprise if the Hammers owners wait until then so they can sign him on a free transfer.
