According to a report from Claret and Hugh, West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is already prepared to sell summer signing Albian Ajeti.

The Switzerland international, 22, joined the Hammers from Basel in the summer for a fee believed to be worth £8 million, according to BBC Sport.

Ajeti has really struggled to establish himself at the London Stadium, however.

He has made just six appearances for West Ham. And he is still yet to score a goal or register an assist.

In fairness to Ajeti, however, he really hasn’t been given much of a chance. The Swiss hitman has been given just 91 minutes action in the Premier League.

It is quite clear that Pellegrini doesn’t trust the 22-year-old. And according to Claret and Hugh, the Chilean is already prepared to move Ajeti on when the January transfer window opens.

The Switzerland international, who earns £50,000 per week according to Sky Sports, obviously doesn’t have too long left to prove himself at the London Stadium.

Time is running out Ajeti. He has to start showing what he is capable of.

In order to do that, however, he needs to be given a fair chance. But if Pellegrini simply just doesn’t rate him, it is unlikely that he will be given that before January.

And the Swiss striker’s time in east London could be very short lived.
