West Ham midfielder Samir Nasri is wanted by Greek side Olympiakos in the summer transfer window, according to Sdna.
Nasri will become a free agent in the summer unless West Ham choose to extend his short-term deal. And if he is released, Olympiakos looks set to pounce.
Olympiakos finished second in the Greek Super League this season behind PAOK Salonika. And the Greek giants are desperate to reaffirm their authority next season.
Nasri has been lined up as a potential signing to strengthen their squad as Olympiakos look to regain their title in the 2019/20 campaign.
Will Samir Nasri stay or go?
Nasri joined West Ham in January after serving an 18-month doping ban. After spending time training with the squad, he got back into shape and was offered a six-month contract.
But the Frenchman has only managed six outings for the Hammers since. He has looked impressive when he plays but various muscular injuries have held back his progress.
The 31-year-old’s fitness is a major concern for West Ham. And this could cost him the opportunity to sign a contract extension at The London Stadium.
According to The London Evening Standard, Nasri will find out where his future lies this week. If West Ham release him, he could be moving to Olympiakos.
