The Czech ace arrived at the London Stadium on loan in January of this year.

The Hammers made the deal a permanent one in July for around £15 million (Daily Mail).

And what an incredible signing Tomas Soucek has proven to be for David Moyes.

The 25-year-old has incredible energy and stamina levels. The Czech international has brought so much to West Ham’s midfield and we are a much better side with him present.

It seems as though the 6ft 4in warrior’s brilliant form has not gone unnoticed, however.

TEAMtalk claimed on Saturday that Bayern Munich want to sign Tomas Soucek.

The Athletic reckons that the Hammers will not entertain offers below £50 million for the former Slavia Prague ace, however.

There is no release clause in Soucek’s current contract (The Athletic). He signed a four-year deal in the summer and we have an option to extend that by a further two years according to Claret and Hugh.

So West Ham hold all the cards. Soucek is so important to or hopes of achieving success over the next few years. The Hammers must keep hold of the 25-year-old at all costs.

That may be easier said than done if Bayern Munich come knocking for the Czech Republic international star, however.
