According to a report from Sky Sports (Live Transfer Feed, 08:00), Hull City ace Jarrod Bowen is en route to West Ham to complete a medical ahead of his proposed £20 million move to the London Stadium.

Crystal Palace were thought to be leading the race for Bowen, but the Sun broke the news last night that the Hammers were attempting to hijack the Eagles’ bid for the 23-year-old.

And now Sky Sports suggest that West Ham are in pole position to land the exciting 17-goal attacker.

The Hull City ace has been in scintillating form this season, racking up 17 goals and seven assists in 32 appearances in all competitions (Who Scored).

He has been incredibly consistent over the past two-and-a-half years with 54 goals and 13 assists to his name in 122 outings for the Tigers (Transfermarkt).

Bowen is young, exciting on the ball, has pace and will surely be an instant fan favourite at West Ham.

The 23-year-old can play anywhere along the front-line. If he does complete his move to the London Stadium, he will give David Moyes another very useful option in attack.

And for just £20 million, it seems as though West Ham are on the verge of securing themselves a real coup.
