According to a report from the Telegraph, Jack Wilshere and Carlos Sanchez are the two players West Ham are most keen to move on this summer.

David Moyes will most probably be a very busy man this summer.

The Scot will undoubtedly be keen to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium.

But in order to do that, the Hammers boss might be forced to raise cash by getting rid of some players first because of the ongoing global health crisis.

And the Telegraph claims that West Ham duo Wilshere and Sanchez are the two prime candidates to get the chop.

Moving duo on would massively free up wage-bill

Wilshere, 28, joined the Hammers on a free transfer in the summer of 2018. His £100k-a-week contract (Spotrac) expires in the summer of 2021.

Sanchez, 34, also joined West Ham in the summer of 2018. His £50k-a-week deal (Spotrac) expires this summer, however.

Neither the Englishman or the Colombian have been successful at the London Stadium.

Wilshere and Sanchez have made just 33 appearances between them for West Ham in 20 months. A rather appalling record indeed.

And moving them both on is absolutely the right call. It would free up £150,000 per week off the wage-bill for a start.

And perhaps then Moyes will be able to be slightly more ambitious regarding the players he tries to bring to the club this summer.
