Inter Milan have entered the race to sign Liverpool linked West Ham United defender Issa Diop, according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wants to bring the 24-year-old Hammers centre-back to Anfield according to The Athletic.
It seems as though Liverpool could now face competition from Inter Milan for the Frenchman’s signature, however.
Diop is well down the centre-back pecking order at the London Stadium under David Moyes at the moment.
So a loan move away from West Ham may well be just what he needs.

Inter Milan to battle Liverpool for Issa Diop?
The Hammers may well be tempted to sanction the 24-year-old’s exit before tomorrow’s deadline.
Foot Mercato claims Inter Milan could now challenge Liverpool for Issa Diop’s signature.
Diop, who earns £62k-a-week according to Football League FC, has really struggled over the past year or so.
Sitting on the bench watching Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna continue to develop their fine partnership will not be doing the 6ft 4in defender any good at this stage of his career.

Inter Milan or Liverpool would be good loan moves for Issa Diop
West Ham signed the Frenchman from Toulouse for £25 million in the summer of 2018 (The Express).
He has incredible talent and so much potential.
Diop is still very rough around the edges, however. There is a good chance that he will go on to become a top class centre-back. We just need to be patient with him though.
Allowing the 24-year-old to leave on loan would be a smart move. Selling him should not be an option, however.
