Grady Diangana is being eyed by a Champions League club. According to Turkish media outlet DHA, Galatasaray want to sign Diangana on loan.

Galatasaray will be able to offer Diangana Champions League football for the year. And he can compete in the Super Lig for the season if he joins Galatasaray on loan.

There are other clubs keen on the youngster. But Galatasaray hope to win the race. The Turkish Super Lig champions will move quickly to sign Diangana on a temporary deal.

Diangana enjoyed a breakthrough season at West Ham in 2018/19. Manuel Pellegrini handed the left-footed midfielder his chance in the EFL Cup against Macclesfield Town and he did not let his boss down.

On his senior debut, Diangana scored twice and impressed the fans. This earned him a number of chances in the first-team, although his form was mixed.

The 21-year-old played 21 games for the Hammers in total. This included 17 Premier League outings, where he added one assist to his name. He also signed a new long-term contract, keeping him in East London until 2022.

Should West Ham send Grady Diangana out on loan?

Pellegrini could decide that a loan might be the best choice for Diangana’s future. The England U20 starlet has not had a lengthy run in the starting line-up and he needs regular playing time.

One of the main criticisms of Diangana is his lack of physicality. If he can bulk up while out on loan in Turkey, this could prepare him well for life at West Ham in 2020/21 and onwards.
