Alleged West Ham target Sami Khedira is in talks to sign for Everton according to a report from 90 Min.

Calcio Mercato claimed earlier this year that Hammers boss David Moyes wanted to bring the German World Cup winner to the London Stadium.
Tutto Mercato Web then suggested at the start of this month that West Ham were eyeing a January swoop for the 33-year-old midfielder.
Corriere dello Sport suggested last week that Everton officials are lining up a move to sign Sami Khedira as a January gift for Carlo Ancelotti, however.

And it now seems as though the Juve midfielder is on his way to Goodison Park for absolutely nothing.
90 Min claims that Khedira is in discussions with Everton over a potential free transfer to the Merseyside club.
If we do miss out on the German midfielder, however, West Ham fans shouldn’t be disheartened.
The former Real Madrid and Stuttgart ace was a great player in his day – one of the best. In fact, Calcio Mercato describe the Juve ace as the ‘prototype of the perfect player for every coach’. Those days are long gone, however.

Sami Khedira not the man for West Ham
The Hammers signing him would have gone against everything that David Moyes stands for.
The Scot has repeatedly insisted over the past 12 months that he wants to bring young, hungry and exciting players with huge potential to the London Stadium.
Sami Khedira clearly doesn’t fit into that category. Missing out on the former Germany international to Everton shouldn’t be seen as a bad thing.
He may very well succeed with the Toffees. But that doesn’t mean he would have been the right fit for David Moyes’s philosophy and future vision.
This will be a failed transfer that we can all be happy about for once.
