According to a report from All Nigeria Soccer, West Ham have invited twin brothers Halim and Hazeem Bakre for trials with a view to a potential double swoop.
The highly-rated duo left Brighton and Hove Albion in 2019.
The Hammers have been well-renowned through out the years for developing exciting young talent in their academy.
The likes of Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole, Glen Johnson and more recently Jeremy Ngakia and Ben Johnson have all come through the ranks at West Ham.
And perhaps the Bakre twins could end up being the next names added to that illustrious list.
All Nigeria Soccer claims that West Ham want to bring the exciting young duo to the London Stadium for trials.
They both obviously still have a lot of work to do, but they have the talent and potential to become very good players.
Halim is a left winger who can also play as a centre-forward. He has been likened to Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha. Hazeem, meanwhile, is a right winger or attacking midfielder. He is similar to Celtic super kid Karamoko Dembélé, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
Leyton Orient are also showing interest in the twin brothers, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
So only time will tell whether David Moyes is successful in bringing the Bakre twins to West Ham.
West Ham surely have the upper hand on their east London rivals, however.
