According to a report from the Sun, the chance to replace Sebastien Haller either in January or next summer appeals to West Ham boss David Moyes.

Manuel Pellegrini brought the 26-year-old to the London Stadium from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019 for around £45 million (BBC).
Haller has seen his game-time limited under Moyes, however. He has scored just 12 goals in 44 games for West Ham (Transfermarkt).
And he really needs to start putting himself about a bit more. Sure, we haven’t played to Haller’s strengths, but at the same time, he hasn’t done enough to make things happen for himself.
The worry for West Ham is that the Ivory Coast international’s value is plummeting by the day.
If the Hammers are to sell the former Eintracht Frankfurt man, it is unlikely that we would get anywhere near £30 million, let alone the £45 million that we paid for him 16 months ago.
Who knows? Haller may still succeed at West Ham. But on order to do that, two things need to change.
Firstly, Moyes needs to instruct Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen to play closer to the 6ft 3in hitman. Much like Ante Rebic and Luka Jovic did with Haller during the trio’s time in Frankfurt.
Secondly, the 26-year-old absolutely must make more of a nuisance of himself for opposing defenders both in the air and on the ground.
It can still work out for Haller at the London Stadium. And there is no reason why it can’t.
But nevertheless, the Sun’s report is a damning indictment of Moyes’s faith in the 26-year-old.
