West Ham have finally completed the signing of Jarrod Bowen from Hull City, according to Sky Sports (Transfer Feed 23:11).
The 23-year-old was first linked with a move to West Ham late last night by the Sun.
Sky Sports then followed the story throughout the day on their live transfer blog.
At 08:00 they claimed that Bowen was en route to east London to undergo a medical. At 14:58 it was suggested that talks between the Hammers and the player had stalled. Then, at 21:31, Sky claimed that it was only a matter of time before West Ham confirmed the signing of the talented attacker.
And now it has been confirmed, according to Sky Sports (Transfer Feed, 23:11).
West Ham fans will be absolutely delighted. Bowen has been on fire this season in the Championship, racking up 16 goals and seven assists in 29 games, all from a wide right position (Who Scored).
The Hammers are in real relegation trouble at the moment, and the addition of Bowen will be a huge boost for them.
If Bowen brings his Championship form into the Premier League, and there is no reason why he can’t, the 23-year-old attacker will undoubtedly be a real hit at the London Stadium.
