Arsenal are leading West Ham in the race to sign brilliant Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma according to a report from the Daily Star.
Central midfield is an area where David Moyes desperately needs to strengthen.
And Brighton ace Yves Bissouma would be the perfect summer addition for the Hammers.
The 24-year-old ace has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season.
Arsenal to beat West Ham to Yves Bissouma?
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta believes he is on the verge of winning the race to sign the Brighton midfielder according to a report from the Daily Star.
And if the Hammers miss out on the Mali international, it would be a big blow to stomach.
The Daily Star reckons Bissouma will cost around £30 million this summer. Although that sounds like a lot of money, the 24-year-old would be totally worth it.
In 32 Premier League appearances for Brighton this season, he has averaged 2.8 tackles, 1.7 interceptions, 1.7 clearances and 1.5 dribbles per game. He has made 46.5 passes per match on average with a hugely impressive completion rate of 87.2% (Who Scored).
The Mali ace is clearly a top class player. He is powerful, energetic, dynamic and incredibly technically gifted.
The Athletic describe him as an ‘explosive’ talent.
Bissouma could be the next Premier League superstar in the making.
And if Arsenal beat West Ham to the 24-year-old’s signature it will very much be their gain and our loss.
