Playing up front for West Ham United brings its own pressures.
But when you are the club’s most expensive ever signing like £45million Sebastien Haller (BBC Sport) it is even more intense.
So if the 6ft 3in Frenchman wasn’t already feeling the weight of expectation on his broad shoulders he will be now.
That’s because the Premier League have given the former Eintracht Frankfurt star top billing in a new report.
Hammer Haller hyped
The Premier League’s official site has published an article ahead of the new season hyping up West Ham’s exciting capture for Fantasy Premier League fans.
And backed with a host of statistics West Ham supporters will find interesting and exciting in equal measure, the the Premier League’s ‘Scout’ states Haller will turn heads and quickly.
“Haller converted 28.3 per cent of his shots last term, a figure better than any FPL forward who scored more than three goals,” The Scout stated on premierleague.com.
“He also created 13 big chances, showing his eye for a killer pass. Only Raul Jimenez and Callum Wilson matched that total among FPL forwards.
‘Haller has the chances to make a quick impact’
“The 6ft 3in frontman is a major presence in the air too. His total of 201 successful aerial duels in 2018/19 was bettered by only three FPL forwards.
“West Ham’s opening schedule can hand Haller the chance to make a quick impact in 2019/20. The Hammers have a tough Gameweek 1 match against Manchester City but then face only two of last season’s top 10 sides in the following 11 Gameweeks.”
It is quite the build-up for Haller.

West Ham fans will back him all the way but he will want to get off the mark early to take the pressure off.
Another factor which could also help relieve said pressure is a second striker signing.
Manuel Pellegrini is desperate to land another couple of transfers before next week’s deadline.
The Hammers have been linked with a host of forwards as well as defensive midfielders.
