It seems as though West Ham have been dealt another blow with regards to their summer transfer plans, with La Razon claiming that Tottenham are now in for alleged Hammers target Loren Moron.

Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport reported last week that West Ham had a £22.2 million bid for the Real Betis hitman rejected in January. And it has been suggested that the east London outfit could go back in for the striker in the summer.

They will have their work cut-out now, however, if a report from Spanish publication La Razon is to be believed.

They claim that Tottenham are lining up a summer swoop for Moron. And will have to pay at least £36 million in order to bring him to north London.

La Razon suggests that the Spaniard’s release clause is actually £55 million.

Stats

The 26-year-old has been in decent form for Betis this season, racking up 11 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions (Transfermarkt).

In 26 La Liga appearances, the Spaniard has scored nine goals and chipped in with two assists. He has won an average of 1.3 aerial duals per game and has attempted 1.6 shots at goal per game. Moron has also averaged 0.5 key passes and 0.3 dribbles per game during those outings (Who Scored).

He obviously has no experience of playing in the Premier League, however. So £36 million would represent a big risk for whichever club ends up signing him.

If West Ham are keen to bring Moron to east London, however, Tottenham’s alleged interest in the 26-year-old will be a real nuisance for the Hammers.
