Paul Merson suggested that West Ham United is the ideal fit for Jesse Lingard, when speaking on Sky Sports Gillette Soccer Saturday programme (Saturday, April 10th, 1:23pm).

The Hammers signed the 28-year-old from Manchester United on loan in January.
And what an incredible signing he has proven to be!
Lingard has racked up six goals and three assists in just eight Premier League games for West Ham so far.
The 26-capped England international has completely transformed the way in which West Ham attack as a team.

David Moyes deserves huge credit for bringing the 28-year-old to the London Stadium in January.
Merson suggested that West Ham is a great fit for Lingard, when speaking on Sky Sports Gillette Soccer Saturday programme (Saturday, April 10th, 1:23pm):
“I don’t see him going back to Man United. He’s gone to West Ham to play football. Now he’s back to loving football, he playing. There’s no point in going back to Man United and playing the Carabao Cup games. He’s scoring goals and making goals. If I was him I would (go to West Ham). He’s the star man, he gets a lot of the ball there. I think it works for him. For me I think West Ham tick the box, I think it’s a great move for both parties.”
Lingard does seem to be loving life at the London Stadium.
He was recently rewarded for his fine form with a recall to the England national team squad.
So at least he knows that he will not be overlooked for the Three Lions if he moves to a team outside the regular top four contenders.
If West Ham finish inside the top six this season, we will surely be able to attract Jesse Lingard to the club on a permanent basis.
Let’s just hope that Manchester United don’t demand silly money for the 28-year-old in the summer.
