West Ham should consider a move for Liverpool starlet Pedro Chirivella in January.

The Hammers have real problems in central midfield.

Declan Rice is a real talent, and an incredibly solid performer. But he needs more support.

Mark Noble is not getting any younger, and West Ham have a real lack of dynamism and craft in the middle of the park.

Chirivella, 22, would be an exceptional addition for them.

The young Spaniard joined Liverpool as a trainee in 2015, but has never really established himself with the senior team.

He is technically excellent, is a bundle of energy, and a fresh start at West Ham could be the making of the youngster.

Chirivella’s current contract expires in the summer, and Football Insider claims that the Reds are prepared to sell him in January.

So West Ham should have every chance of signing the Spanish midfielder.

The Liverpool man could form a superb partnership with Rice. They are two completely different players, and would be able to dovetail perfectly.

Chirivella should be available for a bargain fee in January, with the Reds surely reluctant to lose him for nothing in the summer.

With a run of regular games, the 22-year-old has the potential to reach the next level. He’s the kind of player who West Ham fans love. Young, exuberant, full of energy and exciting.

And the Hammers board must do everything within their power to bring the Liverpool starlet to the London Stadium in January.
