West Ham reportedly want to sign Queens Park Rangers Eberechi Eze in the summer (The Sun). But they will have their work cut out, with the 21-year-old allegedly dreaming of a switch to Tottenham (The Sun).

The QPR starlet has been in scintillating form in the Championship this season.

He has racked up 12 goals and eight assists in 37 games for the west London outfit (Transfermarkt).

Eze is clearly a star in the making. And it is easy to see why the Hammers and Spurs are allegedly keen to sign him.

West Ham might have their work cut-out, however.

The Sun claims that it is the 21-year-old’s dream to join Tottenham.

And if that is the case, Eze will surely opt to joint he north London outfit, if the opportunity does indeed arise for him to do so.

The QPR youngster is an incredible talent. He could be available for just £20 million this summer (The Sun). And that could turn out to be an absolute steal for whichever club wins the race for his signature.

In 37 Championship games this season, Eze has recorded an excellent pass completion rate of 86.4%. He has averaged 2.4 shots, 1.9 key passes and three dribbles per game during those outings (Who Scored).

Standing at 5ft 8in tall (Wikipedia), the 21-year-old has a low centre of gravity. And he is incredibly mobile, both in and out of possession.

If he continues to develop, he might just go on to become a truly top class star. And West Ham will have to pull out all of the stops if they are to beat Tottenham to his signature.

The one thing in the Hammers’ favour, however, is that Eze would surely have more opportunities to play regular first-team football in east London than he would do at Spurs.

There are a lot of factors involved in transfers. If the report from the Sun is anything to go by, however, Tottenham might just have the upper hand over West Ham at the moment.
