West Ham boss David Moyes has a lot of work to do at the London Stadium this summer.

The Scot desperately needs to bolster his squad. But the problem he faces is that he has next to no money to spend this summer.

It has been widely reported that the Hammers boss needs to sell before he can buy.

ExWHUemployee claimed two weeks ago that as many as 10 first-team players are up for sale.

Three of the names included in that list were Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini and Andriy Yarmolenko.

The Brazilian, the Argentinian and the Ukrainian offered little last season. And moving them on for reasonable fees would be good business.

It will be even better for West Ham, however, if they manage to sign Eberechi Eze on the back of it.

ExWHUemployee claimed on Wednesday that the 22-year-old Queens Park Rangers ace is a priority target for Moyes. And the player himself allegedly favours a move to the London Stadium.

Potentially exciting and dynamic front four

If Anderson, Yarmoleno and Lanzini are sold, and Eze is brought in, the Hammers could have an incredibly young, dynamic and dangerous front-line next season.

Jarrow Bowen and Grady Diangana could operate on both wings, with Nathan Holland and Michail Antonio providing stringent competition.

Sebastien Haller would occupy the centre-forward position, with Eze tucked in just behind the Frenchman.

The 22-year-old could help get the best out of the struggling 26-year-old forward. And with the tricky Bowen and Diangana on the wings, West Ham would have the makings of an incredibly potent front four.

There is no reason why the Hammers shouldn’t be able to recoup around £40 million plus for Anderson, Lanzini and Yarmolenko.

The Sun claims that Eze is available for around £20 million. So Moyes would still have plenty of cash left over to strengthen other areas of his squad.

Signing an attack minded player will by no means be a priority for West Ham this summer. But there is no reason why they shouldn’t be looking to upgrade with some smart thinking.
