Chelsea signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could open the door for West Ham United to move in for Armando Broja.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea have made positive steps in their attempts to sign Aubameyang over the past 24 hours.

And if the 33-year-old striker does join Chelsea, West Ham will surely then stand a good chance of prising Broja away from Stamford Bridge.

Hammers boss David Moyes wants to sign Broja from Chelsea this summer according to the likes of The Athletic.

That’s in spite of already bringing Gianluca Scamacca to the London Stadium.

And although it seemed like our hopes of signing the 20-year-old were dead in the water, there may be a glimmer of light on the horizon…

Chelsea signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would be great news for West Ham

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea are making progress in their pursuit of the ex-Arsenal forward:

Aubameyang earns £187k-a-week at Barca (Capology). And the Spanish giants are said to be demanding around £25 million for the prolific striker (Fabrizio Romano).

Described as a ‘lethal’ centre-forward by the Daily Mail, the Gabonese hitman has bagged 310 goals and 92 assists in 604 career games (Transfermarkt).

He has also been labeled as ‘unplayable’ by The Mirror.

The experienced striker would undoubtedly be a hit with Chelsea and Tuchel signing him would drastically improve his centre-forward options.

If that happens, we believe that Moyes should be knocking on Chelsea’s door with another offer for Armando Broja.

We would love the 20-year-old Chelsea ace at the club.

He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Meanwhile, One Football label him as ‘lethal’. And Albania coach Sergio Porrini called him ‘devastating’.

Broja seems to be ideally suited to West Ham and considering the way in which he stretches the opposition with tireless runs into the channels, it’s easy to see why Moyes wants to sign him.

Chelsea could sell Broja for around £40 million this summer according to Give Me Sport.

Whether West Ham will be prepared to pay anything like that for the Albanian is debatable.

On thing’s for sure though, If Chelsea sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer, the Hammers should have a good chance of prising Broja away from Stamford Bridge.
