The Canaries sold Emi Buendia to Aston Villa earlier this month for around £33 million (BBC).

The East Anglia outfit clearly had a replacement lined up, however.

Norwich confirmed the signing of Milot Rashica yesterday for around £9.4 million (Sky Sports).

There was literally no reports linking them with a move to sign the Kosovo international before the deal was confirmed yesterday.

It is clear that the Canaries sold Buendia with a replacement lined up, however. No leaks, no fanfare, they just got the job done. And they made a tidy £24 million profit at the same time!

Norwich embarrassing West Ham in the transfer market

The Hammers are nowhere near as efficient as the Canaries when it comes to transfer dealings.

Whenever we sell a player, it’s extremely rare that we already have a replacement lined up for him. You need look no further than Sebastien Haller as an example.

The West Ham owners continue to bumble their way through the transfer market as other teams around us in the Premier League seem to be strengthening their ranks with the minimum of fuss.

The amount of players we are linked with is farcical. There are leaks at the London Stadium left right and centre.

Names are thrown at us continuously, but nothing ever seems to come of it.

David Moyes must have his priority targets listed. Surely he does!

The board have got to start getting deals done quickly without any unnecessary delays.

The quicker we get players in, the more time they will have to settle into life at the London Stadium and get to know their teammates.

Norwich have given us the blueprint. Now it’s time that West Ham started acting like a big club. A bit of ruthlessness in the transfer market this summer would be a refreshing change.

We won’t hold our breaths though!
