West Ham United target Joan Jordan has sealed a £12.5million move from Eibar to Sevilla.
According to the likes of Sky Sports West Ham have been chasing Jordan to beef up their midfield.
The player has moved to Sevilla, though, and was unveiled this week (Marca).
There are no dramas from West Ham’s point of view, though.

Why West Ham did not ‘miss out’ on target Jordan
Because contrary to some reports Manuel Pellegrini did not ‘miss out’ on Jordan.
It is true the box-to-box midfielder was a target for West Ham.
But only as an alternative to primary midfield targets Stanislav Lobotka and Pablo Fornals.

Fornals the real deal
So when West Ham made Spain star Fornals their second most expensive ever signing, the Jordan deal was never on in the first place.
Celta Vigo and West Ham were miles apart over Lobotka’s valuation.
Fornals cost what is already looking a bargain £24million from Villareal.
As any Hammers fan following the transfer gossip will know, the club’s focus now is solely on securing a new striker.

Maxi-mum push for Gomez
Celta Vigo and Uruguay forward Maxi Gomez is Pellegrini’s prime target.
Any deal for Gomez is likely to be a drawn out affair, though, with West Ham making little ground despite tracking the 22-year-old since January.
