A new claim from the agent of West Ham target Arnaut Danjuma tells a very different story over his doomed Hammers move.
Moyes is in the middle of a sizeable rebuild at West Ham this summer following a raft of departures.
West Ham have made a solid start to the transfer window.
Moyes looks set to take his spending past the £50m mark when he adds imminent £12m signing Flynn Downes to the £30m arrival of defender Nayef Aguerd and the £10m spent making Alphonse Areola’s move permanent.

West Ham are looking for a striker, another central midfielder, an attacking player and a left-back too.
One player that probably won’t be coming to West Ham is Dutchman Dunjuma.
The Villarreal forward has been heavily linked with West Ham over the last couple of weeks.
At one stage reports claimed his move to the London Stadium was imminent.

Things fell apart, though, and a West Ham insider told Claret and Hugh that Moyes was ‘not convinced’ by the player.
“West Ham are not currently progressing in talks to sign Arnaut Danjuma, with boss David Moyes not convinced by the player,” an insider told Claret and Hugh recently.
The Daily Mail also stated that Moyes pulled the plug on a move for Danjuma after deciding he isn’t the best fit for the Hammers.
The West Ham board have allegedly been pushing hard to convince Moyes to sign Danjuma (The Express).

The Dutch international’s agent also hit back at a talkSPORT reporter who had suggested there were question marks over his client’s attitude.
Now a new claim from the agent of West Ham target Danjuma tells a very different story over the doomed move.
The party line at West Ham is that Moyes pulled the plug on the move due to doubts over Danjuma.
But, speaking to Cadena SER, agent Michael Moses told a very different story, insisting the deal was on but fell apart over personal terms.

“It is very unlikely that Danjuma will go to West Ham,” Moses told Cadena SER.
“Issues related to personal terms, which have not gone well,” Moses said when pressed on why the West Ham move fell apart.
So did Moyes pull the plug over doubts about the player, or did the player pull the plug over personal terms?
The truth – as is usually the case with these things – is likely somewhere in the middle.

Perhaps – reading between the lines – Moyes had doubts over Danjuma because of the demands he was making over personal terms.
The Scot may have questioned whether he was signing the kind of character he wants to work with.
But that could also be a case of adding two and two and making five.
Whatever the truth behind Danjuma’s failed West Ham move it is clear Moyes must now move on to other targets.
