West Ham are the “most attractive” option for Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira, according to reports in Brazil.
Brazilian media outfit Globo Esporte claim that Pereira has options on the table but West Ham are favourites as the midfielder seems to prefer staying in England.
Man United reprieve after Mourinho
Pereira has been shunned by Jose Mourinho this season but after he lost his Manchester United job, perhaps there could be a reprieve for the midfield man.
With just four Premier League games and two Champions League outings to his name, Pereira has unsurprisingly been linked with an exit.
The 22-year-old will hope to impress caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in training before the January window opens.
But should the Belgian-born midfielder continue to be frozen out, a loan move to West Ham could be on the cards.
Good signing for West Ham?
Pereira could be an ideal replacement for Jack Wilshere, who is set for more time on the sidelines.
West Ham signed Wilshere in the summer from Arsenal but he has only played five games in an injury-hit campaign.
Pereira has a similar style of play as an attack-minded central midfielder with lots of technical ability.
The once-capped Brazil international could link up with fellow countryman Felipe Anderson to devastating effect if he can find his best form.
In previous loan spells with Granada and Valencia, Pereira has showcased his talent and he could prove himself in the Premier League by joining the Hammers.
