Nikola Milenkovic could be set for a medical at West Ham United in the coming days.
That’s after widespread reports from Italy claimed West Ham’s bid to sign the Serbian defender has been successful.
After claim and counter claim over the last week as negotiations went on between the Hammers and Fiorentina, it appears David Moyes is about to get his man.

After claim and counter claim, West Ham have sealed deal to sign Milenkovic claim multiple sources
The likes of Sportitalia, Football Italia and transfer expert Pedro Almeida claim West Ham have sealed a deal for €17m (£14.5m) plus add-ons.
“This is pending a medical and it is not yet clear if the Serbia international has agreed personal terms yet, or if this is just the transfer between the two clubs that is in progress,” Football Italia claims.
“Nikola Milenkovic is ready to join West Ham from Fiorentina for around 17M€ plus adds on. Paperworks and medical exams prepares,” Almeida said on Twitter.

Medical could be imminent after insider lifted lid on reason for deal delay
West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has claimed the multiple agents involved were holding up a deal.
But ExWHUemployee did also suggest that if those issues could be solved then the player could be set to fly to London for his medical.
“As Milenkovic’s contract is up at the end of the season the agents involved (and there are multiple) are trying to get as big a share as possible,” ExWHUemployee said on The West Ham Way Patreon site last night.
“It appears that after further positive talks this is the final hurdle now to clear and the player is expected to fly for a medical soon once this can be resolved.”

Super Serb would be hugely impressive capture for Hammers
Signing Milenkovic would be an extremely impressive capture by West Ham.
The 23-year-old has been dubbed the ‘new Nemanja Vidic’. And even if he is half the player his legendary fellow Serb was, West Ham will be on to a winner.
The powerful centre-back made 34 Serie A appearances for La Viola last season. He scored three goals, made one assist and had an average match rating of 6.79 (WhoScored).
