Major West Ham boost with player waiting for West Ham to bid for him before deadline day

One player in particular is literally waiting for West Ham United to make another bid for him before deadline day.

West Ham have already signed Kalvin Phillips in the January transfer window, but David Moyes needs to bring in at least one other player before the window closes on deadline day – preferably a forward.

The Hammers have been linked with multiple attackers already this month including Nordsjaelland youngster Ibrahim Osman, and he recently dropped a hint on Instagram that he was waiting for the move to the London Stadium.

However, a deal for the teenager is proving difficult, with the Danish outfit demanding way too much money.

That said, it seems like Osman is doing his best to force through a move to West Ham this winter, after the East London outfit had a couple of bids rejected for him…

Player desperate for West Ham move before deadline day

According to a report from The Daily Mail, Osman is desperately waiting for the Hammers to come in with one final offer for him before Thursday’s 11pm deadline.

I must say, I very much doubt that will happen. There is just no way the West Ham owners will make an improved bid on the £16 million they’ve already offered for the 19-year-old.

Despite his outstanding potential, the cold hard truth of the matter is that Osman is totally unproven at Premier League level.

The Ghanaian has explosive pace and he would provide us with a real level of unpredictability to our attacking play.

However, there are definitely more proven options out there who could come in and hit the ground running – players like Jota or Jack Clarke.

I don’t expect West Ham to sign Osman before the treansfer window slams shut on deadline day. However, I will obviously be happy to be proved wrong!
