There has been a major new Terem Moffi move twist for West Ham as his proposed replacement Bamba Dieng fails a medical.
If you’re not sick of the latest West Ham transfer saga involving Lorient forward Moffi already, you will be when you read this.
We brought you a comprehensive update on the Moffi saga on Hammers News earlier this week.
If you have been following the twists and turns on this deal you will know that Lorient’s preference has always been to sell to West Ham rather than rivals Nice.
But the player’s preference has always been to join Nice.

Enter Marseille who, L’Équipe reported, were already working on a deal with Lorient and the player’s entourage while offering former Hammers target Bamba Dieng in exchange.
The good news, though, was that Lorient wanted Dieng in a “dry deal” with no player swap as Moffi did not want to join Marseille.
The likes of journalist Alan Nixon had previously claimed West Ham’s reported £20m plus move for Moffi was in place with Lorient and it was now ‘all down to wages’.
Major new Terem Moffi move twist for West Ham after replacement Bamba Dieng fails medical
News that Dieng was flying in to seal his straight move to Lorient yesterday was encouraging for West Ham as it meant the French club had their Moffi replacement in place.
But there is a major new Moffi move twist for West Ham after replacement Dieng failed his medical.
Journalist Saber Desfarges and Get French Football News are reporting that Dieng has not passed his medical with Lorient.
And the reports claim that could be bad news for West Ham because it has now cast doubt over whether Moffi will be allowed to leave.

“Concern during Bamba Dieng’s medical visit to Lorient, the player returns to Marseille,” Desfarges reports.
On Moffi, GFFN added: “It appears that Ligue 1’s second-highest scorer this season will remain at the club for the time being, even if he does want to leave.”
So while all is not lost with five days left until the window closes, West Ham’s chances of signing Moffi look increasingly bleak as a result of Bamba’s failed medical.
