After the Sunderland and Stoke draw, West Ham are “mathematically safe”. Great news, with two more matches remaining. Next Sunday we travel to Goodison Park and we will finish the season at Upton Park against Reading but the season is, virtually over. So, right now, the rumours start.
Every summer West Ham are linked with so many players and, in many cases, most of these players never get to West Ham. So we must be patient. The summer is long and I’m sure Sullivan and Gold will do their best in transfer market. Bony, Carroll on permanent deal, Rat and others players are already linked with us.
In my opinion, first of all we must sell some players or let them go. Allardyce is laying the groundwork for a strong team for the future and players like Taylor or Diarra, for example, shouldn’t be part of the squad. We must be stronger than this year and be looking for better targets than this year.
Next year, West Ham will sign good players but, first of all, we need to let some players go. After that, we will be able to sign some. This is the key. First departures and then arrivals. Even with all, we will enjoy the summer with Jack Sullivan tweeting about signings and guessing which is true rumour and which is a false one.
Meanwhile, enjoy the end of the season. We deserve it.
