Liverpool and West Ham United are going head-to-head in the race for a Champions League spot.
Prime West Ham striker target set to hand in transfer request – reports
But it seems David Moyes and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp are set to compete for the signature of a player coveted by West Ham.
Young Sparta Prague striker Adam Hlozek has been heavily linked with a move to West Ham.
Reliable West Ham insiders Claret & Hugh recently claimed Moyes wants to continue to plunder the Czech league for talent and has taken a keen interest in Sparta’s Hlozek.

Liverpool and West Ham competing on and off the pitch
Speculation has been rife that Klopp will look to reinvigorate his forward line in the summer.
Hlozek is said to be close friends with West Ham star Tomas Soucek.
Both 90Min and Claret and Hugh claim the pair share an agent. So West Ham looked a good bet for Hlozek’s signature.
Particularly after 90Min claimed the 18-year-old ‘fancies’ a move to West Ham as they can offer him plenty of game time given Moyes’s lack of striker options.
But now Liverpool are reportedly trying to muscle in on the West Ham target.
That’s according to Football Insider which claims Liverpool could beat West Ham to Hlozek.

And the report claims the Reds could land him for just £15 million.
“A Liverpool source has told Football Insider that the club would need to pay around £15million, possibly climbing to £20m, for Hlozek,” Football Insider claims.
“There is also interest in him from other leading European clubs as Sparta gear up for another big-money sale…
“Anfield talent spotters rate Hlozek highly and have delivered glowing reports to the club’s recruitment department.”
West Ham may be in luck, though. The credence of Football Insider’s report is diminished by a glaring error in the claims.
The site says West Ham signed Soucek and Vladimir Coufal from the same Czech side.

Hope for West Ham as credence of report is called into question by basic error?
But of course – as any West Ham fan will know – the Hammers signed the brilliant duo from Sparta’s bitter rivals SLAVIA Prague.
While Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi face uncertain Liverpool futures, there is bound to be speculation over the next striker Klopp might sign.
Moyes reportedly has plenty of irons in the fire ahead of the summer.
Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima, Chelsea outcast Tammy Abraham and Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri are just some of the names being linked with West Ham.
