West Ham may be able to sign Liverpool centre-back Nat Phillips for just £12 million this summer according to a report from The Mirror.

Some Reds fans are fuming about the news, however. The Liverpool defender was an absolute rock for the Merseyside outfit last season.

Hammers boss David Moyes is desperately trying to bolster his back-line at the London Stadium.

It seems as though West Ham are closing in on a deal to sign Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina.

That shouldn’t stop the east London outfit from signing another centre-back as well, however.

Phillips would be a very wise addition for the Hammers. Especially for just £12 million.
