Liverpool have made contact with the agent of West Ham United ace Declan Rice according to transfer expert Ian McGarry.

The 22-year-old Hammers ace has been in sensational form for the past two-and-a-half seasons.
Rice is now a fully established star for both club and country.
He very rarely has a bad game and his maturity defies his tender years.
Rice is a leader on and off the pitch for West Ham. And he is undoubtedly the first name on David Moyes’s team-sheet at the London Stadium.
Losing him is unthinkable for Hammers fans. It seems as though that could be a very real possibility, however.
Liverpool laying groundwork to sign Declan Rice?
Transfer expert Ian McGarry told the Transfer Window Podcast that Liverpool have already begun laying the groundwork to sign Rice:
“He is no longer on the transfer list of recruitment possibilities for the Stamford Bridge club, but he has certainly roused the interest of Liverpool and Manchester United. Both of whom have expressed interest to Rice’s agent as we understand and they have asked to be kept informed of any offers made for the England international.”
As David Moyes has said previously, if Liverpool do want to sign Rice, they will need to come to West Ham with ‘Bank of England money’.
The Times claims that the Hammers will demand at least £80 million for the 22-year-old. And it could be argued that he is actually worth a lot more than that.
So if Reds boss Jurgen Klopp really wants to bring the West Ham ace to Anfield, he had better understand that he will need to break Liverpool’s transfer record in order to sign the England international.
