Hammers News actually suggested that the 22-year-old could be the next Czech import at the London Stadium just four days ago!

David Moyes will undoubtedly be looking to bolster his central midfield ranks in January.

Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice are solid as a rock in the middle of the park. Moyes has only Mark Noble to call upon in reserve, however.

Spartak Moscow ace Alex Kral would be a superb addition for West Ham.

Russian football expert Artur Petrosyan has claimed that the Czech Republic international is wanted by the Hammers. The journalist, who has contributed to the likes of Sky Sports and BBC, suggests that the 22-year-old will cost around £16 million and command a salary of roughly £20k-a-week.

West Ham fans should be excited

That seems like an absolute bargain in this day and age. Kral is a truly incredible talent.

Considering the success West Ham have had with recent additions Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal, it would be no surprise to see Moyes bring the Spartak Moscow ace to the London Stadium.

The 16-capped Czech Republic international is represented by the same agency as Coufal – K2K. So that is another factor that could work in West Ham’s favour.

Kral began his career as a defender but he has evolved into a midfielder. He is apt at playing the holding role but he can perform central midfield box-to-box duties with equal aplomb.

In 14 league outings for Spartak Moscow this season, the 22-year-old has registered two assists and has averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.9 interceptions, 0.7 clearances and 0.5 dribbles per game. During those appearances, he has made 66.9 passes per match on average with a completion rate of 82.2% (Who Scored).

Kral is clearly a superb all around player, and £16 million for his services could end up being an absolute bargain for West Ham. The Mirror recently suggested that Premier League scouts are swarming all over the young midfielder, however. So we won’t have things all our own way.

Make it happen!
