Central midfield is definitely an area where Hammers boss David Moyes will be looking to strengthen this summer.
The East London outfit really lack any kind of strength in depth in the middle of the park.
Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek desperately need more competition and cover.

And football journalist Nicolo Schira has claimed that Juventus ace Aaron Ramsey could be an option for West Ham this summer.
West Ham moving in for Aaron Ramsey?
The Hammers have allegedly made an enquiry for the 61-capped Wales international:
Ramsey joined Juventus on a free transfer from Arsenal in the summer of 2019.
The 30-year-old hasn’t quite hit the heights that were expected of him in Turin, however.
He has racked up just six goals and six assists in 61 games for the Old Lady (Transfermarkt).

One huge problem for West Ham will be the Welshman’s wages. He earns round £400k-a-week at Juve according to BBC Sport.
We obviously won’t be able to afford anywhere near that. So Ramsey would have to be prepared to accept a massive wage cut if the Hammers are to have any chance whatsoever of signing him this summer.
The Welshman still has a lot to offer at the very highest level. And he would undoubtedly make a huge difference for the Hammers.
I just cannot take this claim seriously, however. I’m sorry but there is no way that West Ham would be able to get anywhere near Ramsey’s wages.
He doesn’t really fit into the profile of player David Moyes wants to sign either. He’s on the wrong side of 30 and is injury prone.
Let’s just chalk this one up as nothing more than pure fantasy laden speculation.
