Signing Jesse up on a permanent deal should be one of David Moyes’s top priorities this summer.
That will be easier said than done, however, after his fine form in East London over the past four months.

The 28-year-old is out of contract with Manchester United in the summer of 2022.
The Red Devils will surely be keen to sell him before the start of next season rather than risk losing him for nothing in 12 months time.
It seems as though he has a bleak future at Old Trafford under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Bruno Fernandes at the club.
The problem for the Hammers will be competition from other club’s for Lingard’s signature in the summer.
