Jesse Lingard is now likely to join West Ham according to transfer insider Dean Jones when speaking on The Football Terrace last night.

The 28-year-old was a huge hit whilst on loan with the Hammers last season.
Lingard moved to the London Stadium from Manchester United in January and went on to bag nine goals and four assists in just 16 Premier League games for West Ham.
The attacking midfielder is now back with Man United at Old Trafford.

There is some good news for the Hammers fans to digest, however.
Lingard likely to join West Ham
It seems as though David Moyes is in a great position to bring Jesse back to East London.
The Scot recently described the Manchester United ace as an ‘exceptional’ player (Evening Standard).
Dean Jones, when speaking on The Football Terrace last night, suggested that Lingard is starting to accept that his future could lie away from Old Trafford, with West Ham being the ideal option for him:

“Lingard looks like he’s giving up now on staying at United. West Ham are back on the tails of him, see if they can get him in. I think that is quite likely, from what I’m told, that that does end up happening. Lingard is starting to accept that there is no way in at United, and after what happened at West Ham last season for him, and the way they’ve started this season, it’s a great fit for him.”
Hopefully Moyes manages to get this one over the line.
Lingard brought so much to our attacking play last season. And if we can pick him up for around £20 million this summer, as The Express suggest, it would be great value.

The West Ham fans would love Lingard back at the club and hopefully the feeling is mutual.
