Jarrod Bowen has been encouraged to join one Premier League club if he leaves West Ham this summer.
The winger is widely expected to switch teams when the transfer window opens, especially if the Hammers are relegated.
Having spent the last six years at the London Stadium, Bowen might be looking for a new challenge as he turns 30 this year.
Former Tottenham and England striker Darren Bent recently discussed the West Ham captain’s future on talkSPORT.
How do YOU feel about Jarrod Bowen as a West Ham United captain….
Clearly a legend but a few dissenting voices 👀
Darren Bent advises Jarrod Bowen to join Newcastle if he quits West Ham
Jarrod Bowen is wanted by several clubs ahead of the summer transfer window, such as Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton.
Bowen is reportedly keen to stay in London if possible, but he might still prefer a better opportunity elsewhere.
Well, Darren Bent has tipped the winger to move about as far away from the capital as possible in England.
He has suggested that working under Eddie Howe at Newcastle would be the most sensible move for Bowen.
“For me, the logical move for Jarrod Bowen, if he were to leave West Ham and stay in the Premier League, would be Newcastle,” Bent said on Tuesday.
“I think you’ve got to stay in the Premier League as long as possible. I remember when I dropped out of the Premier League, I thought I’d come back, and I never did. I was desperate to come back.”
Bent expects West Ham to receive between £40 and £50 million for Bowen, who has four years left on his contract.

This would not be an issue for Newcastle, as they are likely to sell Anthony Gordon to Bayern Munich in the coming months.
Bowen would not be a like-for-like replacement for Gordon, but he would probably start most games for Howe’s side.
He could also play an integral role in helping Newcastle qualify for European competition again next season.
Also, West Ham’s supporters do not have any issues with Newcastle that could tarnish Bowen’s reputation.
If he were to join Chelsea or Tottenham, for example, Hammers fans may not reflect on Bowen’s career so fondly.
