Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bring the 26-year-old Villa centre-back to the London Stadium this month according to Football Insider.
And it is alleged that Hause is open to the idea of joining West Ham in the January transfer window (Football Insider).

The Hammers’ need for a new central defender this month has been well-documented.
And Hause would be an interesting option.

The 26-year-old was born and raised in Goodmayes, Ilford, and was part of the West Ham academy as a youngster.
He was released by the Hammers 10 years ago, aged 16, having joined the academy at a young age from his local side Lakeview FC. It seems as though Hause could be set for a return to East London though…
January transfer window news: Hause set for West Ham return?
Dean Jones, who spoke exclusively to Give Me Sport, reckons that there is definitely a chance that Moyes could bring the Villa defender back to where it all began in the January window:
“It’s definitely possible. It’s one that West Ham are looking at, I think in the last week it’s one that’s become clearer.“

We think that the 26-year-old would be a useful squad addition for the Hammers.
He’s a decent Premier League defender, but does he have the potential to become a top-class player? The jury is still very much out on that.
Standing at 6ft 3in tall, Hause is commanding in the air. He’s big and powerful and very strong in the challenge. Crucially for West Ham, the Villa ace is left-footed.
So it’s no surprise why David Moyes wants to sign him. If the Scot genuinely wants the Aston Villa centre-back, and he is able to pick him up for a reasonable fee, this is a signing that we should all get behind.
Moyes has earned our trust with his impeccable transfer business since returning to the London Stadium.
Kortney Hause might not be an exciting, big name arrival but he would certainly be able to do a job for West Ham.
Whether Villa boss Steven Gerrard will be prepared to sell him this month, however, remains to be seen.
