West Ham United are allegedly interested in signing Hoffenheim left-back David Raum in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from The Guardian who claims that Hammers boss David Moyes could try to bring the talented 24-year-old to the London Stadium this summer.

Raum is someone who West Ham have been persistently linked with for a couple of months now.
Signing a new left-back should be one of the main priorities for Moyes this summer with an upgrade on Aaron Cresswell urgently needed.
The 32-year-old has been a great a servant for West Ham over the past eight years but his regression during the second half of last season was worrying to say the least.

And it seems as though Moyes has a really exciting plan up his sleeve to address the weaknesses in his left-back department…
West Ham eyeing David Raum swoop
The Guardian reckon that Moyes is interested in prising the 24-year-old left-back away from Hoffenheim this summer.
What a stunning signing David Raum would be for West Ham.
The nine-capped Germany international has everything that David Moyes should be looking for.
He’s powerful, has bags of pace and is a real gritty, tenacious competitor. Football Talent Scout describe Raum as a ‘superb’ left-back.
Sport 1 reckon that the Hammers could sign the 24-year-old left-back for around £30 million in the summer transfer window.
That’s very good value in our book.

Raum was in absolutely exceptional form for Hoffenheim last season.
He bagged three goals and 13 assists in 32 Bundesliga games (Transfermarkt). Not bad for a left-back eh!
The German is powerfully built and possesses impressive pace.
At 24, Raum is not even in the prime of his career. And he seems at the ideal stage to make the jump up from the Bundesliga to the Premier League.
£30 million may sound like a lot of money for the Hammers to be paying for a left-back. The 24-year-old Germany international would be more than worth it though.
The role of the modern day full-back is now such an important one in the Premier League.
And if West Ham sign David Raum this summer, we should be in great shape heading into the 2022/23 season.
