West Ham United have been linked with a new move for Bournemouth and England striker Callum Wilson.
West Ham have been pushing to try and sign prime striker target Maxi Gomez.
Manuel Pellegrini needs at least one striker in the summer window and the club are believed to have a host of targets.

Report claims West Ham Gomez ‘failure’
According to The Sun West Ham have failed in their bid to lure Gomez to East London.
And their report states Pellegrini will look to spend the money on Wilson instead.
“The Bournemouth striker, 27, is wanted by Manuel Pellegrini as Celta Viga forward Maxi Gomez looks set to stay in Spain with Valencia,” the report states.

Insider delivers his verdict
When it was put to reliable West Ham insider ExWHUemployee, he admitted Wilson remains on a list of West Ham targets but insisted the club were still trying for Gomez.
“Wilson is on the shortlist of forwards! That I can confirm,” ExWHUemployee said on Twitter.
“However I don’t think we have fully given up on Gomez yet (unless something has happened tonight (Thursday) and I haven’t heard).”

Decent goal record, worrying injury history
Wilson scored 14 goals and grabbed nine assists for the Cherries last season, including a solo stunner against the Hammers.
There will however be concerns over his injury record.
Wilson has battled back from two serious knee injuries and West Ham have only just got Andy Carroll off their books after six years of injury hell.
