ExWHUemployee has today rubbished rumours that West Ham ace Andriy Yarmolenko is a summer transfer target for Arsenal.
The 29-year-old Ukraine international joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018, for around £17.5 million, according to Sky Sports.
Yarmolenko’s debut season for West Ham was ruined by injury, however. He made just 10 appearances before injuring his achilles in October.
The Ukrainian will be almost like a new signing for Manuel Pellegrini this summer.
Might he be headed for the exit door, however?
Not according to ExWHUemployee.
The well-informed West Ham insider shot down rumours circulating on Twitter that Yarmolenko is a target for Arsenal this summer:
If he remains fit, the former Dortmund ace could be a real asset for West Ham this season.
The Hammers have the making of a very dangerous front-line. The likes of Sebastien Haller, Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini and Yarmolenko could cause real problems.
And if they all perform to their best this season, there’s no reason why West Ham can’t achieve a top seven finish.
