Adrian has a number of options when he leaves West Ham. The goalkeeper’s contract expires this summer and he is set to become a free agent at the end of June.

Scottish Premiership giants Rangers will compete with Premier League side Crystal Palace for the West Ham fan favourite. But his former club Real Betis are also in the hunt.

And two unnamed Portuguese sides have also shown an interest in Adrian. It will now be up to the player to decide where he wants to go this summer.

Rangers could lose back-up goalkeeper Wes Foderingham after he revealed (in an interview with Sky Sports) he was frustrated with a back-up role.

If Adrian moved to Ibrox, he would compete with Allan McGregor. The veteran stopper only has one year left on his contract so Adrian could be tempted to fill that role.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, are preparing for Julian Speroni’s departure after nearly 15 years. Adrian might not be first-choice at Selhurst Park but he could remain in London.

Adrian at West Ham

Adrian joined West Ham on a free transfer from Betis in summer 2013. After providing back-up for Jussi Jaaskelainen at first, Adrian soon established himself as West Ham’s number one.

In six seasons in East London, the Spaniard has racked up 150 appearances for the Irons. But he did not play a single minute of Premier League football this season.

Lukasz Fabianski’s form accounted for that. The Poland international won the Hammer of the Year and limited Adrian to cup competitions.

After six years as a West Ham player, it is finally time to part ways with Adrian. But he will not be short of suitors ahead of the 2019/20 season.
