West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini is looking to add quality to his midfield options this summer.
West Ham are believed to want six or seven new additions.
Two of those could be midfielders as Pellegrini searches for a box-to-box midfielder and a classy technician.
The Hammers have been linked with a host of players including Barcelona’s Andre Gomes (Sky Sports).

Hammers to Mount bid?
Another name mentioned in dispatches has been Chelsea starlet Mason Mount.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a superb season on loan with Derby in the Championship.
And he has been rewarded with a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad alongside West Ham’s Declan Rice.
The pair are former Chelsea youth teammates.

‘Soon back on the pitch together’
So when Rice took to Twitter with a cheeky message alongside a picture of the pair together it had some excited West Ham fans jumping to conclusions.
Rice responded to a post from Mount saying: “Soon back on the pitch together bro,” followed by a winking emoji.
That had Hammers fans pleading for that to be in West Ham colours.
But no sooner had supporters started salivating at the prospect of a Rice and Mount midfield partnership, than the bubble was burst.

Insider kills rumours dead
One West Ham supporter put it to reliable Hammers Twitter insider and radio personality ExWHUemployee whether Rice was hinting at a potential move across London for Mount.
And his response killed the rumour dead.
“No nothing in it. I assume he means for England,” ExWHUemployee said on Twitter.
