According to a report from Claret and Hugh, West Ham will not be offering Nathan Holland to West Brom if they do indeed recall Grady Diangana in January.
The 21-year-old Hammers-owned winger has been in fine form for the Baggies since moving to the Hawthorns on loan in the summer. He has racked up four goals and five assists in 13 Championship appearances thus far.
West Ham, meanwhile, have had their problems in the wide attacking department, having lost Michail Antonio to a long-term injury back in August.
Manuel Pellegrini has had to rely on Andriy Yarmolenko. The Ukrainian has only just returned from a serious injury himself, however.
Having someone like Diangana around would have been extremely useful for the Hammers over the past couple of months.
Football Insider claimed last week that West Ham want the 21-year-old back, and are willing to send Nathan Holland to West Brom on loan in his place.
But Claret and Hugh suggest that that idea is a non-starter.
If true, that must bode well for Holland’s first-team hopes at West Ham. If Manuel Pellegrini didn’t fancy him, he would surely be happy to loan him out to the Baggies.
Holland and Diangana have bright futures in the game. Whether they will feature for West Ham’s first-team this season, however, remains to be seen.
